Zuerst ein Mal muss man sagen, dass es ganz anders ist als der erste Teil, aber das macht es nicht schlechter. Ich mochte diese drei geteilte Erzählung, die an Ende zusammen liefen und vor allem wer und wie für den Fall von Gilead verantwortlich war. Mir gefiel, dass es Antworten gab und man noch mehr erfahren hat, zum einen von Beginn dieser kranken Gesellschaft als auch wie Außenstehende dazu stehen und das Betrachten. Für mich hätte es da noch mehr in die Tiefe gehen können. Das Buch hat mich oft wütend, traurig und fassungslos gemacht. Alles in allem hat es mir sehr gut gefallen
